Constitution of the 2RAR Association Incorporated
The 2RAR Association officially formed on 28 Oct 1989 after being founded on 11 Nov 1986 when a group of olds and bolds used to gather for regular catch ups. An interim Committee was formed on 28 Oct 1989 consisting of:
Shorty Baker, Dasher Dean, Bob Downey, Alec Morris; and Pedro Webb.
By 20 Feb 1990 the Association already had a membership of some 439 veterans on their books. For the Association to move forward to become incorporated it would be necessary to conduct a general meeting so as to elect a Management Committee. So at the 2 RAR reunion in Oct 1990 at the Twin Towns Service Club, Tweed Heads, N.S.W with over 300 members in attendance an Executive Committee was elected. The first elected Executive committee of the 2 RAR Association was:
President – Kevin (Dasher) Dean
Vice President – Alec Morris, DCM
Secretary – Bob Downey
Treasurer – Shorty Baker
Five area representatives volunteered to assist also at this time, being:
George Mansford, Jim Poynter, Ken Fraser and Bernie Scatchard
On 15 Apr 1991, the 2 RAR Association officially became Incorporated.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
The 2 RAR Association AGM is held yearly on the last Saturday in October. Only Financial ordinary and Life Members are permitted to stand for election and to vote at the meeting.
