The election of the 2RAR Association Management Committee at the AGM is an important opportunity for eligible members to have their say in the composition of the committee going forward for 2022-2023 and beyond. It is the intention of the current management committee that the bulk of the positions are filled by the current sitting committee members in order to provide continuity to the association. The main advantage of this is the committee is able to consolidate and drive the association into the future.
This should not, in any way, deter any member from applying for a position that they wish to fulfill.
The AGM will be held at the Townsville RSL, 139 Charters Towers Rd, Hyde Park QLD 4812 and be livestreamed via Zoom so members may attend and vote from lockdown and interstate. A notice for the zoom meeting is here:

The AGM will also be streamed at the Twin Towns RSL Club, 2 Wharf St, Tweed Heads NSW 2485 at the reunion.
There are no Special Resolutions to be voted on for this Financial year.
Only financial Ordinary members and Life members are eligible to vote at the AGM. If you have any questions about your eligibility to vote, please contact David White on 0452 202 954 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Because of the location of this year’s AGM, if you are unable to attend, your proxy vote is very important. Use the Proxy Form to decide your proxy and return it to the Secretary as soon as possible.
Voting at the meeting is by the show of hands. The first past the post method of voting will be used. This means the nominee with the greatest number of votes for a position win. In the case of equality of votes; the Chairman shall have a second or casting vote.
